What type of counseling is offered at Creekside?
We offer individual, marriage, adolescent, and child therapy. We specialize in the areas of depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, sexual dysfunction, end of life issues, attachment disorders, divorce recovery, mediation, parenting education, pain management, and much more.
How much does counseling cost?
The charges for our counselors range from $85-$95 per session. The fee for psychologists is $140 per hour and the fee for our psychiatrist varies depending on the service that is provided. Most insurances will cover a portion of mental health services depending on your specific benefits plan. We recommend that you call your insurance company prior to receiving our services to verify coverage for both in-network and out-of-network charges.
How do I set up an appointment?
Call our front desk at 208-529-5777 and ask to make an appointment with the counselor of your choice. If you do not have a preference for a specific counselor, the front desk personnel can assist you in making the choice that best suits your mental health needs.
Does Creekside bill my insurance for me?
Yes, as a courtesy to you we bill your insurance. Your co-payment is due at the time of each visit.
Does Creekside accept Medicaid or Medicare?
Unfortunately, we do not. We are happy to make appropriate referrals to other clinics in the area who are able to bill Medicaid or Medicare. As an alternative, we often have a capable counseling intern on staff who sees clients free of charge.
What age do I have to be to receive counseling?
The youngest clients we see here at Creekside are 18 months old. There is no age limit beyond that point.
Do the therapists at Creekside offer religious-based counseling?
Creekside Counseling is not a religious agency. However, we have counselors from several different backgrounds and philosophies that should be able to adequately relate to the various different backgrounds and philosophies of each client. The front desk can assist you in making the most appropriate choice for your therapeutic needs.
